Great café selling Barry's Irish Tea(loose leaf) or coffee that my friends tell me is one of, if not, the best in Mojacar. High level of service from the owner with a smile and a quip at the drop of a hat. Well worth a visit!

An unassuming building and a one man cafe brung me joy this morning. Food was great, baguettes toasted perfectly and the spreads were delicious. Coffee was spot on, some of the best I’ve ever had. The service was even better. Barry is an amazing man, friendly and hardworking. The fact he runs such an amazing cafe by himself is just delightful. Super friendly and has a good taste in music (Nirvana- Smells Like Teen Spirit was playing as we left). Well done!

Fabulous little cafe right next door to cowboy kennys on the playa. The coffee is extremely well made with good strength but no bitterness. Barry the owner is a skilled barista and knows his craft. Also has home made cakes quiches and sausage rolls made with sausage from the famous Carniceria Sarah in Velez Rubio . Say no more, we'll be back nd so should you

Hey, it was by chance we walked outside El Barrio today. Luckily, we went inside and met the owner Barry. Or rather he met us! Such a friendly guy and so passionate about his coffees and his own baking. We loved his home-made individual, circular quiches. Today he had made three types! Couldn't resist taking away a couple of large sausage meat rolls which were just out of the oven. They have cheese inside that will ooze out on the first bite!

Superb coffee and home made muffins. This is the best coffee / specialty coffee in Mojacar and surrounding area! They should change their name on Google to “El Barrio - Specialty Coffee”:. Because it’s a great place for coffee. Sticky toffee muffins so good
